We see the team members that pick up and deliver your items as more than just ‘drivers’. They are the stars behind this process, hence the name ‘SlikkStar’.
What are the services you offer?Slikk offers a variety of laundry and dry-cleaning services, including wash & fold, dry cleaning, and ironing. We also provide care for your footwear with our professional cleaning & restoration services.
Where can you collect my items from?We can collect your items from your home, office, or concierge.
Do you offer pickup and delivery in my area?Slikk is currently available in North London, North West London & Greenwich. Please check the map below to see if your area is covered.
You can place an order online or on the Slikk laundry app (available on android and apple).
What if I have special instructions or preferences?You can provide special instructions or preferences in the order notes section when you place your order. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs and preferences.
Is there a minimum order value?There may be a minimum order value that needs to be met before an order can be placed. This amount differs from location to location.
How do I make payment?Slikk is completely cashless. We accept payment through our website and mobile app, using a credit or debit card. Payment is made at the time of placing an order.
How do I track the status of my order?You can track the status of your order in your online account or through the Slikk mobile app. We'll also send you updates via email and push notifications.
What if I need to cancel my order?You can cancel your order at any time before the scheduled pickup time. Please note that a cancellation fee of £5 may apply if the cancellation is made less than 2 hours before the scheduled time slot.
What if there's a problem with my order?If you have any issues with your order, please contact us right away. You can message on live chat, send an email, or give us a call. We'll do everything we can to resolve the issue and ensure your satisfaction.
Once your order is placed, you need to pack your items for collection. Make sure to put items in separate bags for each type of service and label them accordingly. If there are multiple orders being placed from your building, we ask that you also add your name & flat number.
Please remove any collar stiffeners and cuff links from shirts and ensure you empty any pockets before giving us your items.
If you don’t have your own bag to use, we may be able to provide one at the time of collection.
How long does it take to get my items back?Our standard turnaround time is 24 hours. Some services may take a little longer due to the work involved, but we will always keep you updated.
Can I receive a delivery if I’m not home?If you won’t be home at the time of delivery you can leave a note or contact us to specify a safe place. Otherwise, we will need to reschedule.
What happens if I miss a collection or a delivery?If you are not home during your time slot you may be subject to a £5 absence fee. You can always mention a safe place or edit your collection/delivery time free of charge up to 2hrs prior to your time slot.
We accept a wide range of laundry items, including clothing, bedding, towels, and more. We do not accept items not suitable for machine wash.
What items are suitable for dry cleaning?Most items made of natural fibre will work great with dry cleaning. You should still check the care label of the items to make sure they are suitable for dry cleaning.
What kind of footwear do you accept?Shoes of all styles and materials (including suede) are accepted.
What items can take longer than 24hrs?Puffa jackets, duvets, pillows, rugs, shoes, curtains, and similar items may require a minimum of 48 hours.
What if an item needs a special clean?If your item is of leather, velvet, suede or fur it may be in need of a specialist clean. We will notify you of the updated turnaround time and if there is any change in price.
How long does shoe cleaning take?Cleaning your shoes can take between 24-72hrs, depending on how dirty they are.
Will restorations take longer to get my shoes back?Restorations need more work, so rather than the estimated 24-72hr return for cleans - painting and reconditioning is likely to take up to 1-2 weeks to complete. Please keep this in mind when agreeing to this service.
